The Rules

1:  Spectators are asked not to applaud during the progress of any run but  to wait until it has been completed.
2:  All competitors and their dogs must be ready to take to the trials field immediately the previous run has finished.
3:  The Committee reserves the right to insist on the removal from the trials field of any dog considered unfit from any cause whatsoever.
4:  No dog will be permitted to run twice in one class unless the Judge considers that it has been unfortunate in its first run through no fault of its own.
5:  If a dog injures a sheep the owner of the dog shall pay for the damage and the dog shall be disqualified.
6:  The Judge may order dogs which have gained equal points to compete again.
7:  A dog completing the course in the least time may not necessarily be the winner.  Style and command will be taken into consideration.
8:  No objections shall be lodged before the course has been completed and any objections must be accompanied by a fee of £5.00 payable to the Secretary when the objection is lodged.
9:  Unless otherwise stated, ALL cups/trophies to be presented but not taken away from the field.
